This artist development panel on royalties and music synchronization gave attendees valuable insights into music rights management and strategies to maximize earnings from various revenue streams. Gemma Castro (She/Her) is a record producer, songwriter, composer, and engineer. She is an in-house engineer for Stones Throw Records, and has engineered for artists including Anderson .Paak, Julia Holter, Lauren Jauregui, and Jimmy Iovine. She has been commissioned for sound art installations and compositions by the Alliance for Women Film Composers, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and the Mike Kelley Foundation.
